Orlando City SC has yet to play a regular season match, but it’s all been in the past few weeks.
In a 1-0 victory against the Seattle Sounders on Friday night, Orlando had two points in three games in its last five.
This weekend, the Lions host Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday.
Orlando City’s next game is scheduled for Wednesday against Real Salt Lake.
For Orlando, the road trip to Vancouver is a long one.
It’ll play four of the first five games at BC Place.
Orlando plays its final game at home, at the Citrus Bowl on Sept. 10.
Orlando will then travel to Portland to take on Timbers 2 on Saturday, and then to Portland for a rematch on Oct. 1.
Here are three things to know about Orlando’s road trip.
How are Orlando City FC doing on the road?
Orlando City has won four of its last six games away from home, including victories over Columbus Crew SC and D.C. United.
Orlando has won six straight away games at home.
It has won eight of its past nine games at the Avaya Stadium.
Orlando is tied for the league lead with four wins in five games this season, with three draws and one loss.
Orlando won two of the last three games it played at BC, including a 3-1 victory over the Columbus Crew on Sept 22.
Two days later, the Crew defeated Orlando 4-1.
This was the first time in six matches that Orlando has had a three-goal advantage, with a 2-0 win over the Portland Timbers on Sunday.
The two teams have been tied at two goals apiece this season.
Who is Dwayne De Rosario?
De Rosary started and started well in his first MLS match on Sunday, helping Orlando to a 1.5-1-0 record.
He scored the first goal for Orlando City, a 3 of 3 in the 29th minute.
De Rosaries goal was a header off a corner kick that bounced off goalkeeper Matt VanOekel, and he also scored the equalizer for Orlando on Sunday as well.
De Rios has seven goals and eight assists in 11 appearances this season and has also contributed three goals and two assists.
De Roos also scored twice against the Sounders.
Is Dwayne Rios going to start next Saturday?
Orlando’s Dwayne Rosario has started every match this season for Orlando, starting and playing every minute.
He has two goals and five assists in 14 games.
Orlando’s next match is at Toronto FC on Sunday and then at Vancouver on Oct 1.
The Lions are still on the second leg of a road trip and are tied at 1-1 with Toronto.
Toronto is the only team with a better away record than Orlando.
They’ve played three games against the Lions in Orlando.
The next five matches are at Portland, Minnesota, Colorado, Real Salt and Columbus.
Is Orlando City getting a big return from Sebastian Giovinco?
Orlando is set to receive a big reward for its big performance against Columbus.
The midfielder scored a brace against Columbus, scoring the equalizing goal in the 33rd minute.
Giovincon also netted the equalizers, with two goals, for Toronto FC.
He also scored two more goals and an assist against Vancouver on Sunday to help Orlando to its first win of the season.
He’s also had three assists in four games.
The first-year MLS player has five goals and six assists in 18 appearances.
Who will play on the other side of the field for Orlando?
The Lions will face a formidable Seattle Sounders team that has lost just three games this year.
The Sounders are tied for second in the league in scoring, but Seattle’s offense is often overshadowed by the strength of its defense.
Orlando needs a big performance from its defensive backline and that’s exactly what Sebastian Giovinsi has done this season with six goals and three assists.
He played the majority of his minutes at right back in Sunday’s win over Columbus, where he had a pair of interceptions.
The former Bayern Munich man will start in the midfield again in Portland, which could make him a good option in that role against Seattle.
Will Orlando City score more goals than Seattle?
The team has scored at least three goals in each of its first five matches, but the Lions have only scored one goal in their last six matches.
Orlando finished last in the Western Conference with 17 goals, while Seattle finished last with 17.
Orlando also scored just two goals in the previous 10 matches.
In the other four matches, the team scored three goals.
