In a recent article, a team of researchers at the University of Washington, led by Dr. Jocelyn Johnson, examined the health effects of eating a few types of seafood and found that the results were not only impressive, but they are actually pretty surprising.

The researchers found that consuming a few different types of fresh fish could boost the levels of some of your favorite hormones, including leptin, cortisol, and adrenaline.

“Our research shows that our daily seafood intake may increase our circulating levels of leptin, a hormone that’s important for the maintenance of healthy hormones like cortisol, which can help keep our cardiovascular health,” Johnson said in a statement.

“Cortisol, on the other hand, has been linked to depression and cardiovascular disease.”

The research also found that certain types of salmon had the highest levels of cortisol, as well as higher levels of adrenaline and cortisol.

In short, if you eat a few kinds of fish that are high in omega-3 fatty acids, then you’ll get more of those hormones in your body, which may make you feel happier.

So, why would people want to eat fish when there are so many other foods that are better for us?

The researchers are currently working on ways to test this hypothesis in the future, but so far, it’s not clear how much of a role omega-6 fatty acids play in your overall health.

Still, if we’re willing to give up fish for omega-5s and omega-7s, then it’s a pretty reasonable idea.
